ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Matt Minton, I use they/them pronouns, and I'm a senior at Ithaca College studying Writing for Film, Television and Emerging Media with minors in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Communications (formerly known as IMC) and Writing. I am also apart of the Leadership Scholar Program, was inducted into the Oracle Honor Society (top 10% GPA during my first-year on campus) and have been on the Dean's List every semester.

As a part of the Leadership Scholar Program, one of my requirements is to create a portfolio to detail all of my leadership work for the semester. This includes being involved on campus in student organizations, participating in community service, and building my leadership education by attending three SLI workshops. As a leader in my community, I always strive to learn and grow through my projects, and this portfolio is the perfect opportunity for me to not only show everything I have done throughout the semester, but to be able to reflect and see my ongoing progress with my goals.

I am thankful for the chance to demonstrate my leadership skills this semester and to see what ways I can become a better leader to my community and to myself through this project.
